Interior Design Show, What to Wear to the Gala

Well hello there BlogPodiumers...it's Christine here from Bijou and Boheme and I'm quite delighted to be here today, sharing with you a little design gala ensemble pretty.

When putting together this little frock, I wanted to represent my love for pink/edgy glamour...I also tried to put together something that reflected my aesthetic because let's face it...when you dress up for a party, you want people to know, from looking at you, what you're all about.

This outfit does just that for moi...in spades...it's basically me in clothes version and I so hope you like it...because if you don't, then I guess one could deduce that you don't like me and that would make me sad so....yes...hope you enjoy;)

The outfit started with the incredible pink chiffon Alexander McQueen scarf dress. If one is going to attend a design gala, I figure they should look the part...and frankly my friends, this dress just screams chic design cool.

From keeping the ensemble from being too feminine/pretty, I edged it up a little by introducing the black...hello Guiseppe Zanotti suede boots and Spell Designs Tribe Chest plate necklace...they both make my design show outfit infinitely cooler.

Of course, no party fabulous would be complete without a little clutch love and I kept the McQueen party going with this studded skull piece of purse heaven...one of my all time favourites.

To complete the look, I added a Samma bracelet, a Valerie Egee ring and a pair of ridiculously fabulous Gucci earrings...because what gala would be complete without a little G love.

So there you have it...my take on design gala chic.

If money were no an object, I'd so be rocking the crap out of that there outfit fantastic.
